Fiorini produces a 100% custom decoupler between the chiller and coils.

The part has been designed to guarantee the system if the power supply is cut off and the compressors are shut down.

A tank that acts as a decoupler between the chiller (primary circuit ~740 kW) and chilled water coils (secondary circuit), each one with its own pump for operation.

This is the result of a partnership that Fiorini Industries has established with different suppliers of raw materials and semi-finished parts to meet specific customer demands: to guarantee the system if the power supply is cut off and the compressors are shut down. In the event of a power cut, the tank allows a pre-set temperature shift to be loaded for the first 15 minutes and with a calculated capacity of 25,000 litres.

The storage tank, with insulation for outdoor installation in a horizontal position, is fitted with expansion vessels, by-pass valves, safety valves, air-vent valves and all the safety accessories required.

The completed and fully-tested tank, is the first of a seven-part order that will be produced in the coming weeks and perfectly sums up the role that Fiorini plays in the design and supply of custom elements capable of responding to specific system requirements.
